Devil's Nose Train Tour
In just two whirlwind days, experience some of the best highlights of the Ecuadorian highlands from the truly unique cruise train that traverses the marvelous engineering feat, the Devil's Nose. A series of steep, zig-zagging switchbacks ascend thousands of vertical meters in just a few short kilometers of railroad, known as the Devil's Nose. Originally, this railway linked the coast to the mountain region. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the recently restored tracks and visit Cotopaxi National Park and the adventure town Banos. You'll spend the night in a cozy hacienda. Devil's Nose Ecuador Train Tour
Day 1: COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK
Your tour starts early in the morning, departing from Quito towards Cotopaxi National Park, where you will learn about the paramo ecosystem. Here, at Limpiopungo Lagoon, you will be able to see Rumiñahui volcano and hike to the edge of the Cotopaxi glacier.
The next stop is Riobamba, where you will spend the night in a charming and authentic Andean hacienda.

Day 2: DEVIL’S NOSE TRAIN
Day two begins at the Alausi Train Station, where a 45-minute ride takes you up to Sibambe town to see a traditional dance. Later you will be able to check out the amazing views of the Devil's NoseTrain and the panoramic sights of the Andes.
A few hours in the afternoon will be spent in the town of Banos, where you can take a tour of the valley of the waterfalls, before heading back to Quito.
