Today our adventure on board the Endemic Galapagos Cruise starts! After our arrival at the airport a representative from the boat will take you to the Galapagos yacht and you will then start with the activities.

Dragon hill is located northwest from Santa Cruz. This is one of the newest places open to visitors in the Galapagos. The trail leads to a bright lake full of flamingos.

Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Land iguana nesting spot, Galapagos flamingos, common stilts, and others.
Day 2 (Monday) - GENOVESA

PM: Prince Phillip’s Steps

Half a mile on a path full of Mangroves leads to pools where sea lions play alone with many sea birds. Darwin bay provides a great view of the cliff.

Steep paths lead to this amazing cliff, Prince Philip’s Steps is full of palo santo vegetation and it is also one of the best places to see red footed boobies.

Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Red-footed boobies, short-eared lava owls, storm-petrels, Galapagos doves.
Day 3 (Tuesday) - SANTA CRUZ & SANTIAGO

In the highlands of Santa Cruz, and side by side are located the twin craters. This is one of the best spots to see the giant tortoises in the wild.

The coral sand goes alone with the lava formations on Sullivan Bay. A huge landscape that shows two of the existent types of Lava in the Galapagos.

Wildlife you might see today: Giant tortoises, Darwin finches, land iguanas and others.
Day 4 (Wednesday) - ISABELA
AM: Sierra Negra Volcano

PM: Wetlands, Wall of Tears & Breeding Center

The enormous caldera of the Sierra Negra volcano is reachable after a 30 minute hike. On a clear day from the top of the Volcano, it is possible to see the other formations like the Alcero and Cerro Azul volcanoes.

A visit to the Isabela breeding center is fundamental to see the conservation efforts the Galapagos National park achieves. Passing through the Wetlands to see flamingos we will then get to the Wall of Tears to learn the Isabela's history.

Wildlife: Darwin finches, giant tortoises, iguanas, flamingos, and pintail ducks.
Day 5 (Thursday) - ISABELA
AM: Elizabeth Bay

PM: Urbina Bay

The Rocky islets in Elizabeth Bay are the perfect refuge for many species of birds, the calm waters provide amazing underwater visibility to snorkel.

Urbina Bay is full of wildlife, the landscape is out of this world and close to its shores is possible to see a coral reef in the surface of the water.

Wildlife for today: Giant tortoises, sea lions, Fur seals and others.
Day 6 (Friday) - FERNANDINA & ISABELA
AM: Tagus Cove, Isabela Island

PM: Espinosa Point, Fernandina Island

Tagus cove is across Fernandina island, divided by the Bolivar Channel. This is one of the few places where the flightless cormorant can be spotted, the water in the area is cold, this means it is great for marine life.

Fernandina Island has never been affected by introduced species, so the ecosystem is still rich and the most pristine in the islands. Espinosa point is the perfect place to see the Galapagos Hawks.

Day 7 (Saturday) - SANTIAGO & RABIDA
AM: Buccaneer Cove

PM: Rabida

In past centuries Buccaneers and Pirates used to stop to repair their ships in this spot. This is perfect place to see the Nazca and Blue footed boobies.

Rabida is famous for its cactus forest and rock formations a short trail leads to the flamingo lagoon of the island.

Wildlife you might see today: Pintail ducks, stilts, Large-billed Flycatchers, Flamingoes, Rays.
Day 8 (Sunday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Black Turtle Cove

Wildlife Observation

Black Turtle is a mangrove covered cove, this quiet environment presents the best conditions for the sea tortoises to mate and three species of sharks can be found here.

After this final visit, you will be transferred to Baltra's airport on time to catch your flight back to the mainland and this way finish an amazing trip on board of the Endemic Galapagos Yacht.

Day 1 (Sunday) - SANTA CRUZ

PM: Bachas Beach

After arriving in Baltra Ecological airport, a representative of the Endemic Galapagos Cruise will lead travelers on board to start the first visit in the Galapagos Islands.

Las Bachas is a coral beach, the main attraction are the remains of a dock used by the U.S. army during the World War II that can still be seen.

Wildlife you might see today: Sea turtles, flamingos, sharks and pintail ducks.
Day 2 (Monday) - SAN CRISTOBAL
AM: Kicker Rock

PM: Lobos Island

Kicker Rock is the most dramatic landscape in the Galapagos islands, with two tuff cones emerging up of the ocean to almost 148 meters. The rocks form a channel for small vessels to pass and allowing travelers to jump in the water for the best snorkeling.

The Lobos island is actually an islet where the largest colony of Sea Lions can be found, this is a scenic place to enjoy snorkeling.

Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Frigate birds, fur seals, manta rays, and sharks.
Day 3 (Tuesday) - ESPAÑOLA
AM: Gardner Bay

PM: Suarez Point

Gardner bay presents the longest beach in the Galapagos with 2 kilometer extension, there is not trails to visit the rest of the island so the exploration will be around the shore where a huge concentration of Galapagos wildlife can be observed.

Punta Suarez main attraction is the walk along the breeding colony of the waved albatross, endemic of the Galapagos and only found on this island. Many other species of wildlife can be found in the area.

Wildlife you might see today: Waved albatross, nazca boobies, mockingbirds, hawks, doves, among others.
Day 4 (Wednesday) - SANTA FE & PLAZAS
AM: Santa Fe Island

PM: Plazas Island

In Santa Fe island the trail will lead to the massive Opuntia cacti forest, the famous endemic specie of the area is the Santa Fe iguana, endemic and with special characteristics that make them subject to conservation projects.

The South Plazas iguanas are the smallest in the Archipelago, it is also home of the Sesuvium which changes its color depending on the season.

Day 5 (Thursday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Breeding Center

PM: Bartolome Island

The Breeding center project started in the 50s to save the giant tortoises population along the archipelago. At this center, you can see all species of tortoises from juveniles to grown ups.

At Bartolome island the highlight is the Pinnacle Rock, which are immense formations of black lava along with volcano formations. The perfect sunset for a Galapagos Holiday and great spot to take a amazing pictures.

Day 6 (Friday) - FLOREANA
AM: Cormorant Point / Devil's Crown

PM: Post Office Bay

In Cormorant point can be found a green and white beach next to each other.The trail leads to the flamingo lagoon where we can also find other types of birds besides the great pink one. Devil's crown marine site is the best for snorkeling!

Post office visit is one of the few spots in the Galapagos Islands focused on Human History. Besides the barrel that worked as a mailbox, there are tunnels that descend for hundreds of yards.

Wildlife you can see today: Flamingos, green sea turtles, Large-billed Flycatchers.
Day 7 (Saturday) - CHINESE HAT & NORTH SEYMOUR
AM: Chinese Hat

PM: North Seymour Island

Chinese hat is the perfect viewpoint to see lava formations and lava tunnels. Its name comes from the resemblance of its summit to a hat.

In North Seymour you can see the largest colony of frigate birds in the Galapagos. Snorkeling is also possible to see large schools of fish and sharks.

Day 8 (Sunday) - MOSQUERA & BALTRA
AM: Mosquera

PM: Baltra

Mosquera islet is located in the middle of Baltra island and North Seymour, and it is the perfect place to see the sea lions behavior, other species as the gulls and Sally light-foot crabs can also be found here.

This is the last visit on board the Endemic cruise before heading the Baltra airport.

Day 1 (Thursday) - ARRIVAL & BARTOLOME

After arrival at Baltra airport, a representative of the Endemic Cruise will guide the travelers to the boat to start the excursion.

The beach in Bartolome is perfect for green sea turtles to nest. While swimming is possible to see penguins and colorful fish. Eagle rays and black-tipped sharks can also be seen on the other side of the beach.

Day 2 (Friday) - FLOREANA
AM: Cormorant Point / Devil's Crown

PM: Post Office Bay

Devil's crown is a majestic volcanic crater eroded by the waves. Snorkeling is possible inside the crown and it is one of the richest places to see marine life. The green sea turtles nesting can be seen at Cormorant Point.

Human history is the main attraction at Post office bay. The barrel used by sailors in the 1700's is still there for people to leave letters as part of the tradition!

Wildlife: Sea lions, Balloon Fish, hawkfish, Yellowtail grunts, Tiger Snake Eels, White-tipped Sharks, Eagle Rays, amberjacks, wrasses, Hammerhead Sharks, and sea turtles.
Day 3 (Saturday) - SANTIAGO & NORTH SEYMOUR
AM: Chinese Hat to Santiago

PM: North Seymour

The Chinese hat visit is perfect to see other geological formations from the summit of the islet. The resemblance of the island to a traditional Chinese hat is what gave it its name.

North Seymour hosts a big population of Blue footed boobies and frigate birds. The island presents great places to do snorkeling along with playful sea lions.

Wildlife for today includes: Marine iguanas, swallow-tailed gulls, sea lions, frigate birds and blue footed boobies.
Day 4 (Sunday) - MOSQUERA & SANTA CRUZ
AM: Mosquera

Mosquera is a small, flat island located in the channel between North Seymour and Baltra. Its large beach attracts sea lions which is perfect to see their behavior.

Dragon hill is a site related to the Charles Darwin Foundation and its efforts to repopulate the islands of native Iguanas. The landing is a rocky shore and this site is perfect to do snorkeling.

Wildlife you might see today: Sea lions, land iguanas, shore birds, among others.
Day 5 (Monday) - GENOVESA
AM: Darwin Bay

PM: El Barranco

In Darwin Bay is possible to go snorkeling along the cliff of el Barranco, the water is rich in nutrients so the marine life is abundant. The small and coral beach leads to the tidal lagoon through a Palo Santo forest.

At el Barranco it is possible to see the red footed boobies, while visitors walk through the rocky path. The Palo santo forest makes a great habitat for Storm petrels, endemic of the Galapagos.

Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Hammerhead sharks, red-footed boobies, Galapagos owl, storm petrels.
Day 6 (Tuesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: The Twin Craters

PM: Baltra

The twins are two large pit craters created by the collapsing of magma chambers. Visitors can walk around the rim of each crater and through the Scalesia forest to see giant tortoises in the wild.

This will be the last visit on board the Endemic Galapagos Cruise, finishing this way an amazing holiday!

From the arrival in the Galapagos in Baltra island, it is possible to see land iguanas and on clear days it is also possible to catch some of the islands and islets in the surroundings.

At Sullivan Bay it is possible to walk across a lava flow to see its characteristics. The main attraction on this visit point is the lava, to see its different states and formations.

Day 2 (Wednesday) - ISABELA

The Sierra Negra volcano caldera is impressive, its measures around 10 kilometers and is consider the second largest caldera in the world. A 45 minutes walk to the top is important to learn about the introduced plants in the Galapagos and their behavior.

The Wall of tears is an interesting historic site in Isabela, as is the remaining of the prison that used to function in the island. The stone rock was built by the prisoners to avoid them getting crazy from not doing anything. The breeding center hosts many species of giant tortoises in all stages of life.

Wildlife : Giant tortoises, iguanas, flamingos, pintail duck, among others.
Day 3 (Thursday) - ISABELA
AM: Elizabeth Bay

In Elizabeth bay no visits are allowed on land. Snorkeling is possible and is easy to spot the sea turtles feeding or nesting on season. Its Mangrove forest is the perfect habitat for the flightless cormorants.

A loop trail around the beach allows to spot giant tortoises and land iguanas. The main attraction in Urbina bay is the coast line coral that was product of an uplift around 60 years ago of 5 meters.

Wildlife you might see today: Land iguanas, flightless cormorants, penguins, pelicans, lava herons.
Day 4 (Friday) - ISABELA & FERNANDINA

PM: Espinosa Point - Fernandina

Arriving to Tagus Cove is arriving to pirates history. Graffities on the rocks can still be found. The chance to see geological formations is one of the highlights of the visit. The place is great to see land birds.

Espinosa point is one of the best places to see lava cacti. Fernandina is the most active and pristine of the Galapagos Volcanoes, and this environment is perfect for endemic wildlife like the flightless cormorant to live.

The trail in Espumilla bay passes by a flamingos lagoon, getting to an arid zone where many land birds gather. The Galapagos fur seals enjoy the rocky formations of the area where they can find shade.

The British buccaneers used this site of Santiago island as a refuge, that is where the name comes from. In this site it is possible to see dark red sand and steep cliffs.

Wildlife you might see today: Sea birds, herons, sally lightfoot crabs and others.
Day 6 (Sunday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Black Turtle Cove

PM: Baltra

Black turtle cove is located on the northside of Santa Cruz, and it is a quiet place perfect for turtles to mate. The cove is covered by mangroves and its calm waters hosts three different kinds of sharks.

Later in the day the Endemic cruise will go to Baltra island to finish the Galapagos Excursion.
