Itinerary Eastern Islands
Day 1 (Saturday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Baltra
PM: Black Turtle Cove Your once-in-a-lifetime trip on the Passion Galapagos Cruise begins with your transfer from Baltra Airport. After a short period settling in and having some lunch we will head to our first Galapagos visitor site, Black Turtle Cove. Here, we explore by water as there is no landing site. After this it is back to your Galapagos luxury cruise for your first evening. Galapagos wildlife to look out for today: Spotted eagle ray, white-tipped reef shark, turtles, golden ray, herons, pelicans.Day 2 (Sunday) - GENOVESA
AM: Darwin Bay
PM: El Barranco Genovesa Island offers some lovely Galapagos visitor sites. The first of these today is Darwin Bay. A birdwatcher’s delight, many species reside in the salt bushes and among the mangroves. Later the Passion motor boat sails to El Barranco, also known as Prince Philip’s Steps. The lava field and jagged cliffs offer a home to a lot of wildlife. Galapagos wildlife today: Red footed booby, frigate birds, Nazca booby, marine iguana, Galapagos storm petrel, red-billed tropicbird, warblers, herons, finches, mockingbirds.Day 3 (Monday) - BARTOLOME & CHINESE HAT
AM: Bartolome
PM: Chinese Hat
Bartolome Island offers iconic Galapagos Islands views, and photographers will enjoy the chance to capture Pinnacle Rock. There is a climb to the viewpoint, but it is worth the effort.
Later, at Chinese Hat (it has a very recognizable shape!) your Galapagos yacht tour visits this distinctive volcanic Galapagos visitors site. The beach is pretty, with the trail passing by a sea lion colony.
Galapagos wildlife to observe: Sea lions, marine iguana, Galapagos penguin, herons, Galapagos hawk, rays, turtles.
Day 4 (Tuesday) - RABIDA & SANTA CRUZ
AM: Rabida
PM: Dragon Hill
Rabida has a stunning, unusual red beach, a beautiful backdrop to view the birds and Galapagos wildlife residing there.
In the afternoon, we make a visit to Dragon Hill. This is aptly named for its population of land iguanas – which look like miniature dragons. Flamingos can sometimes be seen in the delightful salt water lagoon.
Galapagos wildlife to observe: Finches, mockingbirds, warblers, greater flamingo, black necked stilt, white cheeked pintail, land iguana.
Day 5 (Wednesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Highlands
PM: Charles Darwin Station
Your Galapagos luxury yacht trip this morning includes a visit to the Santa Cruz Highlands. This visitor site is popular for its lush vegetation, and superb opportunities for bird-watching.
In the afternoon, a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station provides enlightening information on the history of the islands and conservation efforts, and there is a chance to observe baby giant tortoises too.
Galapagos wildlife to spot today: Finches, woodpeckers, Galapagos flycatcher, giant tortoises, land iguana.
Day 6 (Thursday) - PLAZAS & SANTA FE
AM: South Plazas
PM: Santa Fe
This morning the Passion yacht is docked near to the South Plazas Galapagos site on Santa Fe. There is a large land iguana colony on this tiny island, and there is a chance to enjoy the beautiful white beach.
Later there is a visit to a pretty site which has picturesque cliffs and a lagoon.
Galapagos wildlife to look out for: Land iguana, Galapagos hawk, sea lions, frigate birds, marine iguana, sea turtles, lava lizards, mockingbirds.
Day 7 (Friday) - ESPAÑOLA
AM: Gardner Bay
PM: Suarez Point
In the morning a Galapagos highlight awaits – a visit to Gardner Bay, thought by many to be the most beautiful Galapagos beach. We will enjoy the beach with sea lions and other wildlife.
Suarez Point is our afternoon visit, providing fabulous opportunities to observe the waved albatross (April – December) and a vast array of other sea birds besides. There are beautiful cliffs and an albatross runway, as well as a fascinating blow hole.
Galapagos wildlife today: Waved albatross, blue footed booby, Nazca booby, mockingbirds, sea lions, Galapagos hawk.
Day 8 (Saturday) - BALTRA
Your Galapagos cruise on the Passion luxury yacht comes to an end today. In the morning we will stop on the way to Baltra Airport to visit the Twin Craters (Gemelos). This scenic spot offers delightful photographic opportunities and a chance to understand the geology of the island. We say goodbye at the airport and you will take your return flight to the Ecuadorian mainland.

Itinerary Western Islands
Day 1 (Saturday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Baltra
PM: Charles Darwin Station
Today you will fly into Baltra, from where you will be escorted to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. After lunch and a settling in period you will visit your first Galapagos visitors site of your adventure: the Charles Darwin Research Station. There is a fascinating giant tortoise breeding center here, and a chance to learn about conservation in the Galapagos Islands.
Galapagos wildlife to look out for today includes: Pelicans, sea lion, frigate birds, giant tortoises, land iguana.
Day 2 (Sunday) - FLOREANA
AM: Cormorant Point
PM: Devil’s Crown
During our cruise on the Passion Boat we will visit the lovely Floreana island and its sites, we will head to Punta Cormorant. Here there are two beaches and a brackish lagoon. Many flamingos reside at the lagoon. There are also turtle nesting sites here.
A trip to the Devil’s Crown provides splendid snorkeling opportunities, with a delightful array of pretty fish to spot. If you are lucky, sea lions may play with you in the water.
Galapagos wildlife you may see today includes: Sea lions, flamingos, turtles, parrotfish, angelfish, surgeonfish.
Day 3 (Monday) - FLOREANA
AM: Black Beach
PM: Asilo de la Paz
Still at lovely Floreana Island, your Passion yacht tour will next visit Black Beach to learn about the intriguing human history of the island and its first inhabitants.
Later, on our visit to the Galapagos visitor site of Asilo de La Paz, there is a chance to learn about the fascinating history of this island including pirate life and mysterious murders among residents in times gone by.
Galapagos wildlife to look for: Galapagos petrel, sea lions, marine life.
Day 4 (Tuesday) - ISABELA
AM: Punta Moreno
PM: Urbina Bay
Punta Moreno is the site of your next visit, where formations of lava open up to pools, home to a variety of wildlife.
Later, at Urbina Bay, the scenery is marked by coral sticking out of the sea. There is a walk along a fascinating trail, observing the effects of volcanic activity. We will explore, looking for giant tortoises and land iguanas, depending on the season.
Galapagos wildlife to observe here: Flamingo, heron, stilt, pintail duck, lizards, snakes, penguin, giant tortoise.
Day 5 (Wednesday) - ISABELA & FERNANDINA
AM: Tagus Cove
PM: Espinosa Point
The geology of Espinosa Point has led to interesting lava formations and lovely tidal pools, supporting diverse wildlife. A visit to this Galapagos visitor site includes a walk along a pleasant trail to Darwin Lake.
Later at Tagus Bay, highlights include the chance to see flightless cormorants and take a walk along a delightful trail, with lovely cliff views.
Galapagos wildlife to spot: Sea lions, Galapagos penguin, hawks, flightless cormorants, marine iguana, Sally Lightfoot crab.
Day 6 (Thursday) - SANTIAGO
AM: Puerto Egas
PM: Bucaneer Cove
Puerto Egas is steeped in history, and your Galapagos luxury tour visits this site first today. There is a pretty coastal walk to follow with a chance to view a range of bird life and marine animals too.
At Buccaneer Cove later on we will learn about early pirate life at this Galapagos site with its intriguing bright red rocky landscape.
Galapagos wildlife to keep a look out for: Fur seals, crabs, gulls, boobies, sea lions, pelicans, rays, finches, marine iguana.
Day 7 (Friday) - NORTH SEYMOUR
AM: Sullivan Bay
PM: North Seymour
Your luxury Galapagos yacht moors at Sullivan Bay today, on Santiago Island. The site is fascinating for its geological volcanic formation.
North Seymour Island is our visit later in the day. At this Galapagos visitor site, there is a relatively flat trail with a chance to see lots of birdlife nesting along the way, and perhaps a land iguana or two.
Galapagos wildlife to observe here: Magnificent frigate bird, blue footed booby, land iguana, Sally Lightfoot crab, crabs.
Day 8 (Saturday) - MOSQUERA
Before you head home, we will stop at the islet of Mosquera. This small islet, close to Baltra has a large sea lion colony and a lot of interesting birds to spot along the shore’s edge.
After this you will say goodbye and finish your Galapagos tour. Passion yacht crew members will escort you to Baltra airport for your onward journey back to the Ecuadorian mainland.
