Bonita Galapagos Yacht cabins: Accommodation on the Bonita Galapagos yacht is distributed between the upper deck (4), the main deck (2) and the lower deck (3). Each cabin is comfortably furnished and there are king beds and bunk beds available. There is also triple cabin accommodation on offer, and there are opportunities for solo travelers to book on this boat. Rooms all have private bathroom, air conditioning and hot water.

Itinerary A - Western Islands
Day 1 (Sunday) – SANTA CRUZ
AM: Arrival
PM: Cerro Dragon
In the morning, your exciting Galapagos adventure starts on arrival at Baltra Airport. We will transport you to the Bonita Galapagos yacht to have lunch and settle in, after which we head to Dragon Hill (Cerro Dragon) to look out for land iguanas that reside here. Enjoy a pleasant walk along the trail here among varied vegetation.
Wildlife you might see today: Flamingos, land iguanas, lava lizards and others.
Day 2 (Monday) – SANTIAGO
AM: Bucanero / Playa Espumilla
PM: Puerto Egas
The Bonita Galapagos itinerary day two includes a visit to Playa Espumilla and Bucanero. Fabulous photographic opportunities abound in this stunning scenery. On our walk you may see Darwin’s finches. This afternoon’s visit is to Puerto Egas, a fabulous black sand beach, for a shore walk. Look out for Sally Lightfoot crabs scuttling in the pools. Pan de Azucar can be seen, and it is the deposits of this volcano that have formed the black sand.
Galapagos Wildlife: Sally Lightfoot crab, Darwin’s finches, turtles.
Day 3 (Tuesday) – ISABELA & FERNANDINA
AM: Vicente Roca Point
PM: Espinoza Point
The Bonita Galapagos cruise arrives at Isabela today, with the first stop Vicente Roca point. The marine life here is a treat including sea horses, batfish and sun fish to spot while snorkeling. This afternoon at Espinoza Point (Fernandina), walk along a pretty trail spotting wildlife in tidal pools and alone coves.
Galapagos Wildlife: Giant tortoises, land iguanas, and flightless cormorants, penguins, sea turtles.
Day 4 (Wednesday) – ISABELA
AM: Urbina Bay
PM: Tagus Cove
Urbina Bay is a fascinating site for snorkeling, walking and photographing wildlife along this unusually formed shoreline. Keep your eyes peeled for a Galapagos giant tortoise. After lunch at Tagus Cove look out for land birds along the trail and enjoy the ambiance at the lake’s edge here.
Animals to look for: Galapagos penguin, flightless cormorant, Darwin’s finches, Galapagos hawk, tropical fish, giant tortoise.
Day 5 (Thursday) – ISABELA ISLAND
AM: Moreno Point
PM: Elizabeth Bay
Moreno Point this morning is an outstanding birdwatching spot with its beautiful rocky shoreline. Our trail walk heads past tidal pools, home to intriguing species. For more snorkeling in Galapagos, this afternoon’s visit is to Elizabeth Bay with its crystal-clear water and vast array of marine life.
Wildlife you can see today: Galapagos penguin, sea lion, ray, heron, blue footed booby, gallinule, pintail duck, turtles, rays.
Day 6 (Friday) – ISABELA ISLAND
AM: Tintoreras
PM: Humedales
The Bonita Galapagos itinerary takes in an Isabela highlight today: Tintoreras. The clear blue waters here are home to white tipped reef sharks, after which the islet is named. This afternoon a visit to the wetlands (Humedales) offers an opportunity to enjoy mangroves, rocky shoreline, and sandy beaches with a chance to spot a wide variety of bird life.
Wildlife you can see today: White tipped reef shark, Galapagos penguin, marine turtle, giant tortoise, flamingo, whimbrel, blue winged teal.
Day 7 (Saturday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Charles Darwin Station / Airport
There is time for one last visit today before saying goodbye to the Bonita Galapagos cruise team. Visit the Charles Darwin station to learn about conservation in the archipelago and see the main tortoise breeding center. After this we will transport you back to Baltra for your return flight to Ecuador’s mainland.

Itinerary B - Southern Islands
Day 1 (Saturday) - SANTA CRUZ
PM: Santa Cruz Highlands
Your Bonita Galapagos Cruise starts today when we pick you up from the airport to board the boat. After a delicious lunch and some time to get settled, we head up into the Santa Cruz highlands to look for giant tortoises crashing around in the lush green scenery.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Pelican, giant tortoise, sea lion, Darwin’s finches.
Day 2 (Sunday) - FLOREANA ISLAND
AM: Cormorant Point, Devil’s Crown
PM: Post Office Bay Our first visit this morning is to Cormorant Point, an intriguing green colored beach, with resident sea turtles and flamingos. After this you can enjoy snorkeling in Galapagos at one of the best spots, Devil’s Crown with superb visibility and fascinating marine life. Later, a visit to Post Office Bay allows a chance to see the antiquated but still working mail system here. Galapagos Wildlife: Sea lion, pelican, flamingo, sea turtle, frigate birds.Day 3 (Monday) - ESPAÑOLA ISLAND
AM: Suarez Point
PM: Gardner Bay
A birdwatcher’s delight, we visit Suarez Point this morning, walking a delightful trail to view various birdlife. Depending on the time of year you may see the waved albatross or the blue footed booby mating dance. At Gardner Bay later there is a chance to enjoy this splendid white sand beach and to swim or snorkel.
Galapagos Wildlife and species: Waved albatross, blue footed booby, marine iguana, Nazca booby, Darwin’s finches, sea lion, tropical fish.
Day 4 (Tuesday) - SAN CRISTOBAL
AM: Interpretation Center
PM: Lobos Islands
At the interpretation center on San Cristobal Island you can learn about the natural history of the islands and how the species have evolved. There is also information about the human history here too. A panga ride this afternoon allows us to explore Lobos Islands, to swim and snorkel among the wildlife.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Seal, lava lizard, Galapagos snake, frigate bird, marine iguana.
Day 5 (Wednesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Daphne Major or Bachas Beach
There is a chance for a visit to either Daphne Major or Bachas Beach today before saying goodbye to the team on the Bonita Galapagos cruise. At the cone that is Daphne Major there is an array of bird, land, and marine life, including rays, finches, and sea lions. At Bachas Beach there is a chance to see two US barges from the Second World War and enjoy a lovely walk on the white sand beach. After this, we transport you to the airport for your flight back to the mainland and onward journey.
Wildlife to view: Sea turtles, flamingos, white-cheeked pintail ducks.
Itinerary C - Northern Islands
Day 1 (Wednesday) – PLAZAS
AM: Baltra
PM: Plazas
On arrival at the airport we will collect you to welcome you to the Bonita Galapagos cruise. After some time settling in and some lunch, we will visit Plazas for a delightful walk through delightful scenery with some excellent cliff views.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Sea birds, land iguanas, sea lions.
Day 2 (Thursday) – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND
AM: Black Turtle Cove
PM: Santa Cruz Highlands
The first stop on your Bonita Galapagos itinerary today is Black Turtle Cove in the north of Santa Cruz. Here you can see mangroves and a lot of marine life, accessing the site by dinghy. A highlight this afternoon is a visit to explore the Santa Cruz highlands to look for giant tortoises in their natural habitat.
Galapagos species:Turtles, rays, black-tipped reef shark, giant tortoises.
Day 3 (Friday) – GENOVESA ISLAND
AM: Darwin Bay
PM: Barranco
This morning at Darwin Bay we will take some short walks, enjoying the beach and viewing the mangrove swamp that many Galapagos creatures call home. There is also a chance for swimming and snorkeling. Later at Barranco we visit Prince Phillip’s steps following a trail to observe a variety of birdlife.
Wildlife for this visitor site: Nazca booby, red footed booby, herons, finches, frigate birds, marine iguana, petrels, doves.
Day 4 (Saturday) – SANTIAGO & BARTOLOME ISLANDS
AM: Sullivan Bay
PM: Bartolome Island
Sullivan Bay is comprised of a large volcanic formation and its landscape is unique and fascinating. Spot the colonizing vegetation between the rocks here. At Bartolome Island later on, after a short hike you can enjoy one of the most iconic views in the Galapagos Island, over Pinnacle Rock, lava formations and beyond. Snorkeling and swimming are also highlights here.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Galapagos penguin, sharks, rays, sea lions, hawks, finches.
Day 5 (Sunday) – NORTH SEYMOUR ISLAND
AM: North Seymour Island - Baltra
There is time for one last visit before your return flight. We will stop at North Seymour Island for a walk across flat terrain to spot blue footed boobies, frigates, and pelicans among the vegetation. After this last visit we will transport you to Baltra Island for your onward flight to the Ecuadorian mainland.
