Itinerary A - Western Islands
Day 1 (Tuesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Arrival at Baltra Airport
PM: Las Bachas (Santa Cruz)
Baltra Island: Arrival in Baltra airport, and transfer to the boat to start with your Galapagos trip with the Solaris Yacht.
Bachas Beach: the turquoise waters make a perfect snorkeling experience near to sea turtles and sea lions.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Flamingos, white-cheeked pintail ducks, and migratory birds.
Day 2 (Wednesday) - ISABELA
AM: Tintoreras
PM: Wetlands, Wall of tears, Tortoise breeding center Tintoreras: Close to the shore of Puerto Villamil, the islet of Tintoreras offers a nice snorkeling site to swim with penguins. The Wetlands: The path through the wetlands consist of a series of lagoons for shorebirds to gather, especially flamingos. In the end, we will reach the breeding center to see giant tortoises in all life stages Wildlife you might see today: White tipped sharks, sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays.DAY 3 (Thursday) - ISABELA & FERNANDINA
AM: Punta Moreno
PM: Punta Mangle, Tagus Cove
Punta Moreno: The lava flows in this point have formed several lagoons for birds to gather. A beautiful landscape to take photos!
Punta Mangle: This site is a small inlet where you can snorkel and watch playful sea lions, penguins and flightless cormorants normally are seen here. Tagus Cove: This is an interesting historical point, whalers from past centuries have left their grafitties on the rocks and can still be seen today.
Wildlife: Flamingos, paint-billed crakes, white-cheeked pintails, giant tortoises, hawks.
Day 4 (Friday) - FERNANDINA & ISABELA
AM: Punta Espinosa
PM: Punta Vicente Roca
Punta Espinoza: Grea place to see the unique flightless cormorant and snorkel next to penguins.
Punta Vicente Roca: The nutrients of the water in Punta Roca attract many species of marine life, even whales to feed around it.
Wildlife you might see today: Flightless Cormorants, Sally Light foot Crabs, Galapagos Penguins, marine iguanas, sea turtles, whales, dolphins, sea lions, tunas, Blue-footed and Nazca boobies, pelicans.
Day 5 (Saturday) - SANTIAGO
AM: Espumilla Beach, Buccaneer Cove
PM: Puerto Egas
Espumilla Beach: This is a popular site to see the marine and land iguanas together. Buccaneer Cove: offers a great snorkeling experience along sea turtles, its name comes from the presence of British buccaneers taking refuge in past centuries.
Puerto Egas: The trail leads to the coastline with gorgeous tide pools and grottos full of unique Galapagos animals.
Wildlife: Flamingos and white-cheeked pintail ducks, fur seals, sea lions, sea turtles, rays, and sharks.
DAY 6 (Sunday) - RABIDA & CHINESE HAT
AM: Rabida
PM: Chinese Hat
Rabida Island: It is one of the most colorful and volcanic varied islands in the archipelago as well as a great place for good snorkeling.
Chinese Hat: The clear waters make the snorkeling with sharks and penguins even more especial.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Marine Iguanas, Blue-footed and Nazca boobies, Galapagos Doves, sharks, sea lions, penguins, and rays.
Day 7 (Monday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Charles Darwin Station
PM: Highlands
Charles Darwin Station: In the station we will learn about Charles Darwin work in the islands and current conservation efforts.
Santa Cruz Highlands: In the highest point of the island is possible to see the giant tortoises in the wild as well as panoramic views of the whole island.
Galapagos Wildlife: Vermilion Flycatcher or one of Darwin’s finches, Giant tortoises in the wild.
Day 8 (Tuesday) - NORTH SEYMOUR
AM: North Seymour
PM: Baltra
North Seymour Island: Here resides the largest colony of frigatebirds and there are also great chances to see marine iguanas. After this visit you will be transferred to the airport for your flight out and we will put an end to a great holiday on board the Solaris Yacht.
Wildlife you can see today: Frigate birds, blue-footed boobies, land and marine iguanas.
Itinerary B - North & South Islands
Day 1 (Tuesday) - MOSQUERA
AM: Arrival at Baltra Airport
PM: Mosquera
After your arrival at the Galapagos airport, you will be transfer to the Solaris Yacht for lunch and to begin with your itinerary.
Mosquera: The island consists is a long narrow stretch of white sand, rocks, and tide pools.
Wildlife you might see today: Sea lions, lava gulls, coastal birds, and Sally Light foot crabs.
Day 2 (Wednesday) - GENOVESA
AM: Darwin Bay
PM: Prince Philip Steps
Darwin Bay: The trail in the bay passes through many birds nest, the most representative species is the red-footed booby.
Prince Phillip's Steps: The way up to the cliff is totally worth it, it presents amazing views of the rocks and the Darwin Lake.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Storm Petrels, Short-eared Owl, Lava Gulls, lava Herons, Swallow-tailed Gulls, Great Frigate birds and Red-footed Boobies.
DAY 3 (Thursday) - PLAZAS & SANTA FE
AM: Plazas
PM: Santa Fe
South Plazas: has one of the largest populations of land iguanas in the Galapagos, it is easy to take amazing photos of this animals.
Santa Fe Island: The land iguanas take refuge in the huge Opuntia Cacti forest.
Wildlife you might see today: Sea lions, red-billed tropic birds and swallow-tailed gulls, marine and land iguanas.
Day 4 (Friday) - SAN CRISTOBAL
AM: Interpretation Center
PM: Leon Dormido & Cerro Brujo
Interpretation Center: Here we will learn about the conservation efforts running in the islands and we can see the different species of giant tortoises there.
Kicker Rock: Leon Dormido is by far a dramatic landscape, the two huge rocks emerging from the water also attract many marine species for a perfect snorkeling. Cerro Brujo: Witch Hill several species as sea lions and pelicans can be found in the area.
Wildlife: Ghost Crab and the Hermit Crab, Sea urchins.
Day 5 (Saturday) - ESPAÑOLA
AM: Gardner Bay
PM: Punta Suarez
Gardner Bay: the lagoon in this site attracts many shorebirds, and the green sand beach is unique.
Punta Suarez: This is the most popular site in the Galapagos, here resides a large colony of waved albatrosses.
Galapagos Wildlife you can see today: Nazca and Blue-footed boobies, Galapagos Hawks, Española Mockingbirds, Waved Albatross, sea lions.
DAY 6 (Sunday) - FLOREANA
AM: Post Office Bay
PM: Punta Cormorant, Champion Islet
Post Office Bay: A human historical point, the main attraction of the site is the barrel working as a post office to send letters home.
Punta Cormorant: Cormorant Point offers a trail overlooking a saltwater lagoon that is a favorite of flamingos. Champion Islet: a great place to dive along with sea lions and tropical fish.
Wildlife you might see today: Pintail ducks, stilts, Large-billed Flycatchers, Flamingoes, Rays.
Day 7 (Monday) - SANTIAGO & BARTOLOME
AM: Sullivan Bay (Santiago)
PM: Bartolome
Sullivan Bay: Here the lava flows and the white sand beach are next to each other and provide amazing photo chances
Bartolome: Definitely the best photo place in the Galapagos, it has fantastic views of the Pinnacle rock, a famous postal of the islands.
Wildlife: Green Sea Turtle, Galapagos penguins, Spotted Eagle Rays and Black-tipped Sharks.
Day 8 (Tuesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Black Turtle Cove
PM: Baltra
Black Turtle Cove: Various species of marine life take refuge in the mangrove forest of the cove. Transfer to the Airport and end of your Galapagos Cruise tour with Solaris ship
Galapagos Wildlife you can see today: Sea turtles, lack-finned reef shark, the white-tipped reef shark, and the Galapagos sharks and more.
Itinerary B5 - Southern Islands
Day 1 (Friday) - SAN CRISTOBAL
AM: Arrival at San Cristobal Airport
PM: Interpretation Centre, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno
San Cristobal airport: Upon arrival a guide will meet you and escort you on a short bus ride to the Galapagos Solaris Cruise.
Interpretation Center: Here we will learn about the diversity of the Galapagos and the best way to conserve it.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Sea lions.
Day 2 (Saturday) - ESPAÑOLA
AM: Gardner Bay
PM: Punta Suarez
Gardner Bay: we will see the visitors point from the beach, here is easy to spot the Española Mocking bird.
Punta Suarez: The most popular site to see the waved albatross. Another famous attraction is the magnificent blowhole, spurting water high into the air.
Wildlife you might see today: Nazca and Blue-footed boobies, Galapagos Hawks, Española Mockingbirds, Waved Albatross, sea lions.
DAY 3 (Sunday) - FLOREANA
AM: Post Office Bay
PM: Punta Cormorant, Champion Islet
Post Office Bay: The main attraction of the site is the barrel that reminds the old communication system used by the sailors in past centuries.
Punta Cormorant: The green sand beach and the flamingo lagoon are the highlights of this site. Champion Islet: abundant tropical fish make the swim experience more colorful.
Wildlife you might see today: Pintail ducks, stilts, Large-billed Flycatchers, Flamingoes, Rays.
Day 4 (Monday) - BARTOLOME
AM: Sullivan Bay
PM: Bartolome
Sullivan Bay: The black lava flow and white sand go along making an amazing landscape possible.
Bartolome: The best postal of the Galapagos is indeed the Pinnacle rock,
don't forget your camera.
Wildlife you might see today: Green Sea Turtle, Galapagos penguins, Spotted Eagle Rays and Black-tipped Sharks.
Day 5 (Tuesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Black Turtle Cove
PM: Departure
Black Turtle Cove: The many mangroves here protect the marine life that congregates in the cove shores. After this visit you will have a transfer to the Airport.
Galapagos Wildlife you might see today: Sea turtles, lack-finned reef shark, the white-tipped reef shark, and the Galapagos sharks.
Itinerary B4 - North & East Islands
Day 1 (Tuesday) - MOSQUERA
AM: Arrival at Baltra Airport
PM: Mosquera
Arrival in Baltra airport and transfer to the boat, a short briefing on board about the boat and the Galapagos itinerary.
Mosquera: The island consists is a long narrow stretch of white sand, rocks, and tide pools.
Wildlife you might see today: Sea lions, lava gulls, coastal birds, and Sally Lightfoot crabs.
Day 2 (Wednesday) - GENOVESA
AM: Darwin Bay
PM: Prince Philip Steps
Darwin Bay: One of the only places where the red-footed booby can be seen. There is also many other bird species nesting in the area.
Prince Phillip's Steps: On the way to the cliff we will see the nests of the endemic birds of the area. The landscapes are perfect from up there.
Wildlife you might see today: Storm Petrels, Short-eared Owl, Lava Gulls, Lava Herons, Swallow-tailed Gulls, Great Frigate birds and Red-footed Boobies.
DAY 3 (Thursday) - PLAZAS & SANTA FE
AM: Plazas
PM: Santa Fe
South Plazas: The site offers the perfect place to see the marine and land iguana at the same time.
Santa Fe Island: The massiva Opuntia Cacti forest in the surface of this island is home for many land iguanas.
Wildlife you might see today: Sea lions, red-billed tropicbirds and swallow-tailed gulls, marine and land iguanas.
Day 4 (Friday) - SAN CRISTOBAL
AM: Leon Dormido
PM: Airport
Leon Dormido: Kicker Rock is a dramatic landscape formed by to huge rocks emerging from the water and providing an great snorkeling experience. Transfer to the airport for your last good byes and finish your Galapagos cruise tour on board of Solaris Yacht.
Wildlife you might see today: Ghost Crab and the Hermit Crab, Sea urchins.
