Day 1 (Wednesday) - SANTA CRUZ

Today we will meet you at Baltra Airport and transport you to the Beluga Galapagos yacht for your adventure in the archipelago.

After settling in, we’ll head to our first Galapagos visitor site, Highlands on Santa Cruz Island, the highlands are a deep green, contrasting beautifully with much of the dry, lower islands. The dominant vegetation in the highlands is the Scalesia trees, creating the lush green color. The lava tubes, over half a mile long, are underground and walking through them is a unique, surreal experience.

Galapagos wildlife to look for: Giant tortoises, Galapagos finches and other birds.
Day 2 (Thursday) - SANTA FE & SOUTH PLAZAS

AM: Santa Fe Island

PM: South Plaza Island

This morning the first stop for the Beluga Galapagos ship is Santa Fe Island which is striking for its variety of cacti vegetation and lovely trails.

Later we head to South Plaza Island with its large population of land iguanas – the biggest in the Galapagos. There are also splendid opportunities to observe birdlife on this island, and on Santa Fe.

Day 3 (Friday) - SAN CRISTOBAL
AM: Witch Hill

San Cristobal Island offers various Galapagos visitor sites to enjoy today. The first is Witch Hill in the morning. As well as the delightful white sand beach we can spot the marine life and sea birds that reside here.

Later we’ll head to Kicker Rock which to some is like a boot, but others think looks like a sleepy lion. You can decide for yourself as you enjoy the large colony of sea birds here.

Galapagos wildlife to see today: Rays, sharks, pelicans, blue footed booby, sea lion, marine iguana.
Day 4 (Saturday) - ESPAÑOLA
AM: Gardner Bay & Islote Garnder and Islote Osborn

PM: Punta Suarez

The Beluga Galapagos cruise ship makes its way to Espanola Island for some fabulous treats today.

First we spend some beach time at Gardner Bay, a stunning white sand beach with a large resident colony of sea lions.

Later on, Punta Suarez provides splendid opportunities to observe bird life along the trail and a blowhole up on the cliffs. We might even see the waved albatross (April – December).

Galapagos wildlife here includes: Waved albatross, sea lion, blue footed booby, Galapagos hawk, herons, Sally Lightfoot crab.
Day 5 (Sunday) - FLOREANA
AM: Cormorant Point

PM: Post Office Bay

This site features a beautiful lake where flamingos and other birds such as the white-cheeked pintails can be seen, the green beach is called after its distinctive color, a walk at the beach will allow you to enjoy surreal views of the surrounding wildlife and landscapes.

In the afternoon we’ll visit the Post Office Bay, a barrel placed by pirates in the 18th century and used for unofficial mail.

Galapagos wildlife today: Flamingos, tropical birds, sea lions.
Day 6 (Monday) - SANTA CRUZ & SANTIAGO
AM: Dragon Hill

PM: Sullivan Bay

At Dragon Hill, you will have the chance to snorkel for a view of the marine wildlife, there are lots of marine iguanas in the area.

Later on the Beluga Galapagos yacht sails to Santiago Island for our visit to Sullivan Bay. The lava formations here are tremendous as there is a massive lava field, and there is plenty of wildlife to spot.

Day 7 (Tuesday) - GENOVESA
AM: Darwin Bay

At Genovesa Island we have two Galapagos visitor sites to explore. The first is Darwin Bay. This is a delightful sheltered and sandy beach with interesting bird life.

Prince Phillip’s Steps is our later visitor site today, and we’ll head up a steep path in the cliff to observe a fascinating bird life colony. From here there are excellent views of the surrounding landscape.

Galapagos wildlife to spot: Frigate birds, lava gull, lava heron, red footed booby, swallow tailed gull.
Day 8 (Wednesday) - SANTA CRUZ
AM: Black Turtle Cove

PM: Baltra

It’s back to Santa Cruz Island today for one final visit before heading home. We’ll head to Black Turtle Cove for a fascinating panga ride among the mangroves and the chance to spot and photograph a range of marine life.

After this, it is time to bid farewell to the Beluga Galapagos cruise ship, and head to the airport on Baltra for your return journey to Ecuador.

Galapagos wildlife today: sea turtles, lack-finned reef shark, the white-tipped reef shark, and the Galapagos shark.

Day 1 (Wednesday) - SANTA CRUZ

Wildlife Observation

Welcome to the Galapagos Islands! Today we will collect you from Baltra Airport and transfer you to the Beluga Galapagos first class yacht where your cruise will begin.

After your pick up at the airport we will transfer you to the highlands which will be the first visit site for your itinerary, you will get to see giant tortoises in their natural habit while enjoying also views of the beautiful surroundings, in the afternoon we will also visit the Fausto Llerena breeding center to learn about the tortoises conservation and breeding programs.

Day 2 (Thursday) - CHINESE HAT & RABIDA
AM: Chinese Hat

An islet with the shape of a chinese hat, this site is famous for its concentrations of birds, you will get to enjoy beautiful views of the islet as well as chances to appreciate its wildlife.

Rabida is a red colored beach which offers amazing snorkeling where colorful fish are abundant, it is an important site to get to see birds nine varieties of finches, large-billed flycatchers, Galapagos hawks and brown pelicans.

Day 3 (Friday) - ISABELA
AM: Sierra Negra

PM: Puerto Villamil

Today’s Beluga cruise ship visits are on Isabela Island, a western Galapagos archipelago spot. A visit to the Sierra Negra volcano offers a lovely trail walk as well as tremendous views of the scenery around and good photographic opportunities.

Later at Puerto Villamil, we’ll visit the Tortoise Breeding Station, observe the white sand beach and the lagoon which is home to a range of bird life.

Day 4 (Saturday) - ISABELA
AM: Moreno Point

PM: Elizabeth Bay

Still on Isabela Island, we will visit Punta Moreno this morning. Here, the fascinating lava formations are a sight in and of themselves, but we can also find wildlife living here too.

At Elizabeth Bay later on in the day there are good chances to observe the marine life, and a range of shore birds in this area. A trip on the panga allows views of the colorful life below the water’s surface.

Galapagos wildlife you might see: Galapagos penguin, pelican, flightless cormorant, lizards, rays, lava heron.
Day 5 (Sunday) - ISABELA
AM: Urbina Bay

PM: Tagus Cove

There are a wealth of Galapagos visitor sites on Isabela Island, and our first visit today is to the stunning Urbina Bay. The unusual landscape here is due to coral sticking up from the sea, caused by volcanic activity.

At Tagus Cove later on we’ll visit a saltwater lagoon and enjoy this former pirate hiding spot with its beautiful scenery and viewpoints.

Day 6 (Monday) - FERNANDINA & ISABELA
AM: Espinosa Point

At Fernandina Island this morning our first stop is Espinosa point, known for its large colony of marine iguanas, with a chance for some lovely photographs of these interesting creatures.

Later, the Beluga Galapagos cruise boat heads to the rocky Vincente Roca Point on Isabela Island. Here, along the coastline we can see bird nesting sites and spot lizards darting around among the rocks.

Galapagos wildlife to see today includes: Galapagos penguin, marine iguana, flightless cormorant, sea horses, sea turtles.
Day 7 (Tuesday) - SANTIAGO & BARTOLOME
AM: Egas Port

PM: Bartolome Island

This morning we visit Egas Port on Santiago Island. Here there is a pretty coastal trail with some lovely rock pools and some interesting wildlife spotting opportunities.

Later at Bartolome Island we can walk to the viewpoint for a stunning view of Pinnacle Rock – surely the most photographed spot in the whole of the Galapagos archipelago, and with good reason too. The walk is well worth the effort!

Day 8 (Wednesday) - NORTH SEYMOUR & BALTRA
AM: North Seymour Island

Today it is time for farewell to the Beluga Galapagos ship, your home for the past week. But first we visit North Seymour Island, known for its amazing bird colonies. Here, along the trail across the island we may observe nesting birds if the season is right.

After this visit it is time to head to the Baltra Airport for your return flight to Ecuador’s mainland. We will escort you there and wave goodbye.

Today you’ll arrive at Balta Airport, and we will transfer you to and welcome you on board the Beluga Galapagos cruise ship, where your adventure will start. Note that the transfer between Santa Cruz and Isabela island takes place by public speed boat, once at Isabela island the tour guide of the Beluga yacht will pick you up.

After settling onto the boat, there is a chance to see Puerto Villamil. This lovely town is the largest on the island and has a splendid white sand beach.

Day 2 (Saturday) - ISABELA
AM: Punta Moreno

PM: Elizabeth Bay

This morning on Isabela Island the first port of call is delightful Punta Moreno. Among the intriguing lava formations here there are brackish pools where wildlife can be enjoyed and photographed.

The Beluga yacht sails onward to Elizabeth Bay where a multitude of marine life can be observed below the surface of the water. There are also bird watching opportunities as there is an array of shore birds here.

Galapagos wildlife you could spot: Galapagos penguin, pelican, flightless cormorant, lizards, rays, lava heron.
Day 3 (Sunday) - ISABELA
AM: Urbina Bay

PM:Tagus Cove

Urbina Bay on Isabela Island is today’s first Galapagos visitor sight to behold. The scenery is quite unique, given that it was formed by volcanic activity which caused coral to stick out from the sea.

Later we head to Tagus Cove. This was a former hiding place for pirates, and we’ll enjoy the lovely landscape just as they did centuries before. The trial passes by a saltwater lagoon with some stunning views.

Day 4 (Monday) - FERNANDINA & ISABELA
AM: Punta Espinoza

PM: Punta Vicente Roca

This morning the first stop for the Beluga boat is Espinosa Point on Fernandina Island. This spot provides a home for a multitude of marine iguanas which live among the rocks here.

Later in the day we head to Vincente Roca Point on Isabela Island, a rocky spot that is home to a variety of birds which build nests among the crags. There is also a good chance to observe lizards here.

Day 5 (Tuesday) - SANTIAGO & BARTOLOME
AM: Puerto Egas

PM: Bartolome Island

Our morning visit today is to Puerto Egas on Santiago Island. This place is steeped in history, and the delightful trail leads along the coastline, with chances to spot wildlife in the pretty rock pools along the way.

Later we sail for Bartolome Island. You will likely recognize the landscape here as it is very well known and photographed. From the viewpoint, we can take the same pictures ourselves of the spectacular Pinnacle Rock.

Day 6 (Wednesday) - NORTH SEYMOUR & BALTRA
AM: North Seymour

PM: Baltra - Return flight to Quito

Your last visit today is to North Seymour Island, which is a lovely Galapagos visitor site and home to a wide range of bird life. Along the relatively flat trail across the island, there may well be chances to observe nesting birds and mating rituals, depending on the season.

From here the staff of the Beluga yacht will transfer you to Baltra Airport to catch your flight to the Ecuadorian mainland.

Your journey on the Beluga Galapagos luxury yacht commences today at San Cristobal Island. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the boat to settle in.

El Junco Lagoon, up in the San Cristobal highlands, the latter of which is actually a crater lake and the only freshwater lake in the archipelago.

Galapagos wildlife to look out for: Rays, turtles, sharks, sea lion, pelican, pintail ducks, frigate birds.
Day 2 (Saturday) - ESPAÑOLA
AM: Gardner Bay, Garnder Islet, Islet Osborn

Day two of your Galapagos adventure will be spent on the fabulous Espanola Island. The first visit is to Gardner Bay. This stunning white sand beach offers opportunities to relax, as well as to photograph the large sea lion colony which lives here.

At Suarez Point later, the trail heads up onto the cliffs through a wide array of bird life, to a blow hole. If the season is right we may see the waved albatross (April - December).

Day 3 (Sunday) - FLOREANA

At Floreana island today, we will get to visit an impressive lagoon where flamingos are easily seen, there are also two beaches where you will walk to appreciate wildlife and unique landscapes.

We will also visit Post Office Bay in the afternoon which is a barrel placed there by pirates in the 18th century and believed to be used as unofficial mail, the tradition continues today and you can be a part of it.

Day 4 (Monday) - SANTA CRUZ & SANTIAGO
AM: Dragon Hill

PM: Sullivan Bay

Dragon Hill offers great chances to see marine iguanas and enjoy amazing snorkeling close to the rocky shores.

We will later go to Santiago Island where we head to the Sullivan Bay Galapagos visitor site. Again, stunning lava formations are sure to impress, and particularly the tremendous lava field near to the trail.

Day 5 (Tuesday) - GENOVESA

Today on Genovesa Island we will first head to Darwin Bay. The birdlife here is fascinating, and there is a lovely walk along a trail by a beautiful coral beach.

Our next visitor site later on is Prince Phillip’s Steps. The steep climb on steps up the side of the cliff is worth it, as atop the cliff is a large seabird colony and some photogenic scenery.

Galapagos wildlife today: Frigate birds, red footed booby, wallow-tailed gull, lava heron, lava gull.
Day 6 (Wednesday) - SANTA CRUZ & BALTRA
AM: Black Turtle Cove

This morning we’ll visit the marine site of Black Turtle Cove. This lovely site provides an opportunity to spot marine and other wildlife and birds that have made their home among the mangroves here. A panga ride around the site reveals all!

Later you’ll say goodbye to the Beluga Galapagos boat for your trip to Baltra Airport, to catch your flight to the Ecuadorian mainland.
